Performer Contract Guidance
Procurement Services provides performer contracts.
Use the Performer without Equipment Contract when performers will use the following types of equipment during events:
- Laptops
- Small speakers / amplifiers and lights that sit on the ground
- Keyboards
- Guitars, violins, flutes, trumpets, trombones, or similar instruments
Use the Performer with Equipment Contract when performers will use the following types of equipment during events:
- Large speakers / amplifiers and lights that sit on the ground
- Any speakers / amplifiers and lights that are suspended above a stage or the crowd
- Fog machines
- Strobe lights
- Pyrotechnics
- Large pianos, drum sets or similar instruments
Performer Minimum Insurance Requirements
General Liability Insurance, subject to at least limits of $1,000,000 each occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. Coverage must be provided for Bodily Injury Liability, Broad Form Property Damage Liability, Contractual Liability and Products and Completed Operations coverage. The coverage must be primary, non-contributory, and include Cornell University as additional insured.
